Find the right paint for your project

Our collection includes different finishes and formulations designed for different surfaces and areas of the home:

  • Matt Emulsion: a sophisticated matt finish for interior walls and ceilings.
  • Kitchen & Bathroom Emulsion: a water-resistant paint specially designed for kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Interior Eggshell: a tough, washable and easy-to-maintain finish suitable for interior surfaces and woodwork.
  • Garden Paint: suitable for a variety of exterior surfaces, including garden wood, primed metal, terracotta and masonry.
  • Exterior Eggshell: a durable finish suitable for selected exterior surfaces.

Test your colour before painting

The appearance of a colour can vary depending on the direction of the room, natural and artificial light, and the colours surrounding it. We therefore recommend testing your chosen shade before buying the full-size tin.

  • Peel & Stick Sample: an adhesive sample that can be placed directly onto your wall, allowing you to see how the colour looks in different lighting conditions.
  • 100 ml Tester Pot: a small paint format that allows you to test the colour directly on the surface before starting your project.

How much paint do you need?

The amount of paint required will depend on the surface, its condition, the existing colour and the number of coats applied.

Important: the coverage figures given refer approximately to one coat.

Most decorating projects require two coats to achieve an even, consistent finish. Therefore, the final area covered by a tin will be lower when two coats are applied.

For example, a tin with an approximate coverage of 25 m² per coat will cover approximately 12–13 m² when two coats are applied. Actual coverage may vary depending on the surface, its absorbency, the existing colour and the application method.

Approximate coverage guide

Coverage statedApproximate coverage with two coats
10 m² per coat 5 m²
25 m² per coat 12–13 m²
50 m² per coat 25 m²

These figures are indicative only. Always check the specific product information before purchasing.

How to paint melamine furniture

It is possible to paint melamine furniture, but proper surface preparation is essential to achieve good adhesion and a durable finish.

Melamine is a smooth, low-porosity surface, so we do not recommend applying paint directly onto it.

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove grease, dust and dirt.
  2. Lightly sand the surface to improve adhesion.
  3. Apply a suitable primer for non-porous surfaces.
  4. Apply the paint according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Allow the recommended drying time between coats.

Which paint is best for melamine furniture?

For interior furniture and woodwork, Interior Eggshell is a particularly suitable option thanks to its tough, washable and easy-to-maintain finish.

Under normal use, Interior Eggshell does not require an additional protective varnish.

A matt paint can also be used over a suitable primer and subsequently protected with an appropriate varnish. However, varnish can slightly alter the colour or sheen of the final finish, so we recommend checking compatibility before applying it to the entire surface.

Tips before painting

  • Always check that the paint is suitable for the intended surface and use.
  • Prepare the surface properly before painting.
  • Follow the recommended drying and re-coating times for each product.
  • Remember that coverage can vary depending on the surface and application method.
  • For larger projects, we recommend purchasing enough paint in the same colour and finish.
  • If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for a particular surface, check before starting your project.
